Treatment of bph with luts

Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) occur in men and women increasingly with age. In men, LUTS is often concurrent with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a histologic diagnosis that refers to the proliferation of smooth muscle and epithelial cells within the prostate. The progression of BPH can lead to benign prostatic enlargement (BPE).
